Who we are

TW Mums in Business is a community of local mums (and the odd dad and grandparent) from in and around Tunbridge Wells who all run businesses around our children. We are from various backgrounds, with all sorts of businesses in all sorts of stages, and our children range from babies to those in their 20s. You can find out more about some of our members and other local mums in business in our Directory.

What we do

We meet every month to network, share information and experiences, learn about business related matters from a wide range of speakers and have the odd treat here and there. You can see photos of some of our meetings in our Gallery.

We also have a rapidly expanding blog, which many of our members contribute to and which generates a lot of interest, an active Facebook Group for our members, links with the local media, a well-used Directory, and we also join forces for shared PR activities.

We’re also very proud to be supporting an amazing charity, ChYps, which provides hospice, palliative care and support for local children and their families in their own homes.

Our meetings

We meet on the first Wednesday evening of every month. You can find out more information on our Meeting Info page. New members and guests are always very welcome. You can also find out more about membership and how to join on our website.

Our history

TW Mums in Business was established in March 2009 and has been run by Claire Witz (Painted with Love) since October 2010. We have many active members and excellent speakers with a good reputation in the area and strong links with many local businesses and media.

Local interest has been great and the group has appeared and been mentioned on BBC South East Today and Radio Kent as well as regularly in The Courier newspaper and Index, Playground and Family Interest magazines.
